Summary
The photographer, Darren Clark, accompanied Jodie Hall and her family camping in the Ord Valley. The Simon family members are Jodie's children by a previous marriage. Her eldest daughter Bernadette (nee Simon) is married to Ainsley Meeway and has children Anjelia and baby Ainsley. The family shoot ducks, hunt for turtle, catch and cook goanna, dig up mi-worri (bush turnips), pick water lilies to eat. They also cut branches of the goorlung tree which which when burned produces smoke that repells mosquitos.
