Summary
Several slides are labelled Recataloguing Section. For 11 years a project was underway to recatalogue the stock of the former Public Library of Western Australia which was taken over by the Library Board of W.A. in 1955, to homologise the entries, made over many decades, with those for the Board's stock. (The project is described in the 17th Annual Report of the Library Board of W.A., 1968-1969, p.18)
