Summary
The Dairy Division of Peters retained the brand name of Brownes after taking over the dairy in 1962. Dairy headquarters is at Charles Street, North Perth where some 200 people are involved in the processing, packaging and distribution of milk and other diary products. The country factory is at Brunswick Junction exploying 80 people specialising in cheese making and processing and packaging milk for the South West area. Peters (W.A.) Limited previously the Peters & Brownes Group and before this two separate companies. This is the reason logos for both companies can be seen in the photographs.
