Summary
Images from the 1975 Western Australian Lawn Tennis Championships held at the Kings Park Tennis Club. Two matches are featured in this record; Australian Margaret Court playing Olga Morozova and the match between Ross Case and Geoff Masters. Mrs Court beat the Russian Morozova 6-4, 7-5 in 70 minutes to win her 8th Western Australian Singles title. Mrs Court received $2000 prize money. This was Court's second title since taking 12 months off for the birth of her second child. Olga Morozova was runner up at Wimbledon in 1974 and was ranked 3rd in the world at the time of this match.The Queenslander, Ross Case beat his friend and doubles partner, Geoff Masters to take out his first Australian state title. Mr Case severly sprained his thumb in the fourth set but still managed to take the game; 6-4, 7-6, 4-6, 7-6. The pair were forced to forfeit their doubles final the following day due to the severity of Case's injury.
