He wrote 'Report on Central North Kimberley Region' for the Dept of Lands and Surveys in 1955. The purpose of the expedition was to survey and classify the region from the Gibb River Station to the Kalumburu Mission at the mouth of the King Edward river. It was also to improve the track from Wyndham to Karunjie, to open a track from Karunjie to the Gibb River Station and to extend that track as far north as possible. The expedition was under the command of surveyor John F. Morgan and involved over 20 men. It actually reached Rago on the coast north of Kalumburu Mission and constructed about 420 miles of tracks.
