Book is covered in cloth. Text is handwritten in black ink, and black ink and watercolour illustrations depict scenes in and around Augusta. "Mother, With love & best wishes from Tiny, 14th October 1921" is written on the inside front cover (the word "Tiny" is difficult to decipher. It is likely Katherine's nickname)
