Summary
The Drysdale River Mission was established by the Benedictines of New Norcia in 1908 in the Kimberley in Western Australia. In 1937, the main 'mission station' was moved to Kalumburu, which had been an outstation of Drysdale River. Samuel Rea was a police officer based in Derby and Fitzroy Crossing.
