Summary
This report describes the findings of a project that analysed the impact of Wirnda Barna Artists (Wirnda Barna - the Art Centre) in the Midwest Region of Western Australia. The role of the Art Centre in providing both symbolic public recognition for Aboriginal art and culture, and personal support for artists is particularly powerful.
