Caption attached to the photograph: The old Beaufort Street Bridge, removed to make way for the present structure about 20 years ago.This bridge now more familiarly known as the Barrack Street Bridge. The iron bridge shown in this photograph replaced a jarrah version in 1894. This bridge was rebuilt as the bridge we see today 1906-1908.
